This painting came straight from a scan of one of my Bible journaling pages from Lent this year—and I just knew it needed to be a print for y’all! 😍

The texture is so, so good, and those loose florals feel bold, playful, and full of life. I’m honestly a little obsessed with this one and already thinking I need to print it big for my own house. 👀🏡

And can we talk about this scripture for a minute…because wow. (Another reason I want this one up on my wall!)—

“And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest?”

Luke 12:25–26 ESV

Seriously though…why are we like this?! 😅🤦🏼♀️

We know our worry doesn’t get us anywhere faster. It doesn’t fix the thing. It doesn’t add time. If anything, it steals from what’s right in front of us. And yet—we keep carrying it like it’s our responsibility to stay on high alert, just in case.

But we’re not the fixer of everything. We never were.

If we can’t even add one hour to our day—such a small thing—why do we live like everything else is ours to control?

It sounds a little ridiculous when you say it out loud…which is exactly why we need this reminder in front of us. 💛

God’s Word speaks to this so often because He knows how easily we drift into worry. And He gently calls us back—to trust, to release, to rest in His care.

That doesn’t mean we stop being wise or responsible—but it does mean we don’t have to carry what was never ours to hold. 🌿
