Sow Righteousness (Hosea 10:12) 🌷💧🌷

During a Bible journaling live last month, I painted this right in my Bible, and a few of us started talking about how it would make such a beautiful print. 🎨

We ended up lingering on this verse and the depth of it—and I’ll never forget my friend Missy telling me not to mess the page up because she really wanted a print of it. 😂

Thankfully…we made it through, and it found its way into this collection! 🙌🏼

“Sow for yourselves righteousness;

reap steadfast love;

break up your fallow ground,

for it is the time to seek the Lord,

that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.”

Hosea 10:12 ESV

There’s so much tucked into this verse. 🌿

It’s a reminder that what we sow matters—that the small, daily choices toward righteousness aren’t wasted. God sees them, and in time, they bear fruit in ways we can’t always see right away.

And that part—“break up your fallow ground”—that’s a big one. It’s the call to tend to the hard, untouched places in our hearts—the places that have gone a little dry or neglected—and to invite God to do something new there. 💧

He doesn’t hold out on us when we seek Him—He always pours out what we need. He offers His righteousness, His renewal, His steady love…and the list goes on and on.

He is always inviting us into something so that we can see the promise too. He is so, so good to us. 🌷✨
