Surely Goodness

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭23:6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

David expresses absolute CERTAINTY that God's goodness and mercy would be with him constantly. It also implies that God's love and compassion are not temporary but ENDURING, accompanying all believers at every step of their journey. How comforting is that?!🥰

I wanted this truth on my wall. I wanted a constant reminder that no matter how hard the day is, that His goodness and mercy never leave me. He doesn’t forget send goodness my way and to shower me with much needed mercy. I don’t have to remind Him. He is already there!🙌🏼
