The Only True God — This piece came straight from my Bible journaling. As I was flipping through it a few months ago, this one grabbed me and practically begged to be scanned as an art print for you. It holds the heart of Jesus’ prayer in John 17… so much truth and encouragement for us. 📖
“In this world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (This was my favorite verse as a child, and it still is to this day.) And then His prayer — that we would know the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.
That’s eternal life. Not just heaven someday, but knowing and following Him right now. 🙌🏼
I love that this passage shows us The Kind King so clearly. He speaks honestly about trouble. He doesn’t pretend it won’t come. But He also stands firm in victory. He has overcome. 🙌🏼
Remember this, friend—our faith is not built on shifting sand, but on the only true God. ✨
I pray it encourages you to open your Bible, linger in John 16 and 17, and remember that the One who reigns is also the One who prays for you. 💛 How amazing is that?! 😍
